Oyuna Tserendorj grew up in Mongolia where she discovered her passion for cashmere, she travelled and studied to developed her creative ability. Her brand is anchored to her connection with Mongolian cashmere and her honed design skills. Oyuna sits away from other luxury cashmere designers, and aims to bring her ‘connection to this ancient fibre to the forefront of a new type of luxury’.
In Glasgow in 1823 Mr Charles Macintosh invented a waterproof fabric, smart enough to wear in the city. His invention achieved such popularity that today Mr Mackintosh’s surname is often used as a generic term for any raincoat, although those by the Mackintosh label are the true originals.
